All the books of 2023

I like to track the books I’ve read, but I don’t set goals or plan what I’m going to read next. I choose titles based on recommendations, mood, and availability. This year, I’ve “read” more audiobooks than any other year and am in a Kindle phase.
Perhaps now is time for a little confession: I may like reading on my Kindle more than actual books at this point. I have a Kindle Oasis and it’s easy to hold and take with me everywhere. Plus it isn’t backlit like a phone screen, so it’s easier on my eyes. AND it’s waterproof. The selection of Kindle Unlimited titles has been really good lately, so I’ve been reading a lot of books included with my subscription.
I like audiobooks while I drive, although I’m driving less now that I have a teenage driver who transports her siblings to school. I especially like audiobooks for memoirs and historical fiction books.
Here are some other tips & tricks to make time for reading:

Need more recommendations? Here are #KHTreads from 2022, 2021, 2020, 2019, 2018, and 2017.

I am looking for some good G- PG rated books. Do you ever make a list with a rating. I’m trying to find books with fairly clean language and without descriptive sex. Preferably without sex. I’m single and try to keep my thought life clean.
I don’t usually have ratings like that (although it’s a good idea), but I do pay attention and usually mention it in my reviews. Two authors I think you’d like is Erin Bartels and Amanda Cox. Both are great storytellers with clean romances & story lines.
Thank you so much.
