Hello, Friday. I’m truly glad you’re here. And I’m glad to have some time – five minutes, to be exact – to join in the weekly Five Minute Friday hosted by the lovely Kate Motaung. The rules are simple. Write for five minutes on her prompt. Just write. And then link up with Kate and the rest of the writing crew. This week’s prompt: NOW.
So, let’s do this …
*****
Right now I’m excited for Christmas Break, which begins today after lunch.
Right now I’m enjoying the quiet in my house after a late night adventure with my husband to see Murray State play at Ole Miss
Right now I’m eager to get order restored to my house and the rest of my gifts wrapped.
Right now I’m looking forward to Christmas gatherings with each side of our family and our best friends.
Right now I wish there was a good family movie in the theaters.
Right now my youngest girl seems to be transitioning from one nap to two.
Right now I’m soaking in the last couple weeks of Christmas music.
Right now I am motivated to work on my book update and am loving the contributions from other adoptive moms
Right now I’m tempted to each fudge.
Right now I’m in between reflecting on the year that’s almost behind, anticipating the new one, and living in the now.

I’m linking up with Kate Motaung for Five Minute Friday.
I haven’t wrapped any Christmas gifts yet. I guess that’s the difference between Americans and Europeans. 😉 Right now we are looking for the fourth Sunday of Advent. Then we start preparing for Christmas in earnest. Celebrating Christmas starts on the eve of Christmas and goes on until the 6th of January!
Fun post, thank you. Blessings to you and yours!
Thanks for being here today!
I like the way you did this and NOW I know exactly what is going on in your world!
This format is the first thing that came to mind, so I went with it. 🙂 I’m glad you enjoyed it!
How fun the game must have been to watch!! I love that you and your hubs got to have “date!” 🙂
I love your Right Now statements. So much to anticipate! We begin Christmas break after lunch today too, and I am actually looking forward to it. We’re all weary and ready to relax.
I hope your Christmas season holds much joy and laughter and fun, my friend!
Thanks, Jeanne! I’m glad we got a date too, even if it was unconventional! 🙂 We are ready to relax too. I hope your break is full of peace, joy, and rest! Merry Christmas, sweet lady!
I love this list, Kristin (especially the soaking in of remaining time for Christmas music…cant they play it all year?) Enjoy the Now today, tomorrow and the day after that 🙂
I’m not sure I’d love Christmas like I do if I listened all year, but I am tempted sometimes to wish for it more than one month a year. Thanks for your encouragement, Mandy!
Christmas music is my absolute favorite. So many faves!
So many favorites here too. 🙂
