Thursday’s Thought

February 5, 2009 by Kristin Leave a Comment

I love books. This is part of the collection I have to pass to Cate one day. Some of them are books I saved from my childhood + others were added as I found them at yard sales.

I do apologize for skipping last week, but I didn’t have a post ready before we lost electricity Tuesday night/Wednesday morning. We were back to “normal” until Saturday morning.

I’d wait a while before giving her “Their Eyes were Watching God…” Along that same line, I just finished a book called “Reading with Babies, Toddlers, and Twos” which had great ideas and over 80 book lists on the best in each category. I’m going to buy it as a reference. And yes, Chad made fun of me for reading a book about books.

Wow! It has been a while since I have seen some of those titles. I read all the Ramona books… The Witch at Blackbird Pond, The Waverly school… that takes you back!

About Me

Telling stories is my therapy and love sharing with friends on my porch.

The main characters in my stories are my entrepreneur husband, our fifth-grade girl who never forgets, our have-no-fear second-grade boy, and our joy-filled toddler girl. As we live out our stories, we seek God as the author of them all.
